Love that lettuce, and our first peas are coming on!
The tomatoes in the hoophouse were big enough to be staked, and the basil doubled in size this past week! We snuck in a lettuce crop around the winter squash starts that were planted at the work party with first-year students from Bastyr College of Naturopathic Medicine volunteers.
Another flat of kale ready to be planted and more bed prep for the scarlet runner beans!
Come anytime from 9 am – 4 pm, and stay for as long or short as you’d like. Our picnic lunch is at noon– enjoy fresh picked salad from the garden and soup deliciously cooked by Karen Korbelik, Food Bank Manager. Yum!
