Electricity to the greenhouse!

We needed power to the greenhouse for the lights in a new germinating box. Through a generous donation, and lots of really hard work by volunteers, we now are electrified!

Trenches were dug across the road, and then down along the worm bins to the shed and the greenhouse. Hard work!

Conduit was laid, and the long trench filled in with gravel to help with drainage.

Everything filled back in, the electricians do their job, and voila, we have electricity for our germinating box! Now we can grow lots of starts!

A huge amount of gratitude to the donor who made this possible, and to the volunteers who made it happen on the ground: Pete Little operated the trencher, Gary Koepplin, Judy Bierman, Doug Allderdice and Kara Moore helped with trenching and backfilling.
