Angus Buchanan

It is with great sadness that we mark the passing of Angus Buchanan. His generous heart, determination, and humor enriched us all, and he gave us the gifts of his skills and talents. Angus tilled the field in the front of Good Cheer, and then built a beautiful fence. We couldn’t have launched the garden without him.

Here are links showing Angus’s contributions to the garden with tilling the field, setting the fence lines, hanging the fence, setting corners, and making gates.

The upper corner of the garden is now filled with sunflowers.

The fields he tilled are abundant with produce for the Food Bank.

Angus’s legacy lives on in the garden, and we will miss him deeply.

There will be a gathering of family and friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Buchanan residence at 5697 Casper Court, Langley and a finger food potluck.
